Orioles Affiliate, Bowie Baysox Team Up with D17 for Community Night

The Bowie Baysox and D17 have come together to create a lasting impact in their community through their collaborative efforts at Community Night on August 19th versus the Altoona Curve. Bowie Baysox and D17

The partnership between the Bowie Baysox, a Minor League affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and D17 exemplify the power of collaboration in community outreach. Both organizations recognize the importance of giving back to the community and have joined forces to highlight Columbia and Ellicott City businesses.

The Bowie Baysox, known for their commitment to community engagement and organize a series of Community Nights where fans can enjoy, experience, and become aware of local businesses within the Baltimore-Washington DC area. As players earn promotion to AAA or even playing in the Major League, fans ofter follower their path and become loyal to the farm system they have grown to love. Players such as Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Ryan Mountlecastle, and Cedric Mullins have all played in the Prince George’s County Stadium,

D17, with our expertise in community development and brand energy, created an event-only giveaway item for Baysox fans to enjoy. The item was a vintage inspired Baysox logo hat but with D17 branding on both front and side hits. The piece was heavily inspired by the 1994 Baysox Inaugural Season Snapback in which that logo hasn’t been used for 30 years. Thankfully, we were able to bring it back and bring new life to the iconic piece.

Since this was a limited release, we gave out 200 hats that fans will remember. Thank you, Baysox and we hope to see you again soon.
